Embrace your wild and find sisterhood.
Women are a force of nature.
And somehow, we have forgotten our power. We second guess, we shrink, we get caught in the cycle of work caretake sleep repeat, yet something keeps nagging at us.
A wild woman cannot be contained. Our wildness is our deep calling within, our intuitive natural selves, one who is unbound.
Women aren’t just a force of nature. We ARE nature.
Join us for the Wild Women Campout that will bring back your sense of wild in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont.
The Weekend:
At Underhill State Park, we will band together at the foothills of Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont. Here we will camp for 2 nights in our own private lean-to. Our first night we gather in food and ceremony and prepare for our trek in the morning.
At dawn, we will begin our ascent up Mount Mansfield, supporting each other up the mountain while we greet the day. There we will enjoy coffee and a light breakfast, basking in each other’s glory. After our hike down the mountain we will eat lunch and have time for a siesta, journaling, and individual exploration of the park. We will end the day with food and our special Fire Release Ceremony during the New Moon: designed to let go of what’s holding you back from embracing your wild woman.
Our final morning together will be spent in meditation and a gentle yoga practice. We will eat breakfast, say our goodbyes, and get ready to embrace our Wild out into the world.

Meet your Host
Eliza Kuchuk
Eliza has guided women, teens, and boat charter guests across land and sea. In her role as an ambassador for Women Who Hike, she led women throughout the mountains of Vermont and fell in love with the sense of wild that connected them while in the wilderness. In her former role as a youth nonprofit director she also was able to lead teens on summer backpacking trips and adventure camps.
For Eliza, the outdoors is where she finds divinity. As a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, she seeks to share a glimpse of that sense of connection and sacredness with others through mindful movement and meditation. Eliza believes that while we may have been taught that we are separate from nature that is not the case. We ARE nature, and through the natural world we can come back to the wildness within.
On this retreat, Eliza is excited to guide women up the highest peak in Vermont while in sisterhood and tapping back into our wild nature.
About the Hike + Experience
We will start our hike walking through a beautiful meadow starting at Underhill State Park all the way to the CC Road trail. From there, we will go up Halfway House and start our ascent. We will then traverse the Mansfield ridge via the Long Trail all the way to The Chin to enjoy coffee on the highest peak in the beautiful Green Mountain State. Once we are ready, we will return to the park via Sunset Ridge Trail.
This is a challenging hike that covers 5.9 miles with 2,683 feet elevation gain. There will be some steep sections and light rock scrambling, some sections in the dark as we hike up during sunrise. There is the possibility of changing this loop due to trail conditions.
This is a group hiking and camping experience. We will hike, cook, and camp together in our private lean-to while taking care of one another.
