Immerse yourself in the ancient teachings of yoga
Experience a week in the US Virgin Islands to deep dive into the vast spectrum of yoga to find a state of bliss. During the full moon, we will move (asana), breath (pranayama), and meditate to return to our true selves: one that is peaceful, loving, and full of light.
With the Caribbean Sea and beauty of St. John set as our backdrop, we will connect both to ourselves and nature while settling into an easeful week of yogic exploration. Join us for this divine week in paradise!
The Experience:
Imagine waking up every morning, fresh coffee brewing, and stepping into a meditation designed to connect to your truest most radiant loving self. After meditation we will engage in a fiery asana (movement) practice to move our bodies and connect to the divine prana (energy) within. Immediately after we will enjoy brunch, curated by our own private chef, to nourish our bodies. Afternoons will be spent in nature, enjoying the most beautiful beaches in the world or on the island’s National Park trails for a light hike. The evenings will be spent in sacred ceremony, meditation, and restorative yoga.
This retreat is about returning to our true selves: one who is radiant, loving, compassionate, peaceful and full of BLISS. Through yoga, we will explore our minds, bodies, and souls while learning how to fully trust and nourish ourselves.
Accommodations:
We will be staying at a luxurious villa on St. John, with breathtaking sunset views and exquisite stone interior. With a private pool and plenty of spaces to lounge both inside and outdoors, unwind in this tropical paradise.
Amenities
All rooms have a smart TV as well as individually controlled AC. High speed Wi-Fi is throughout the villa. A modern kitchen will be our hub as we eat meals prepared by our personal chef. There are two washers and dryers, no need to stress about bringing enough clothes!

Meet your Hosts
Eliza Kuchuk
Lead Facilitator & Yoga Teacher
Eliza is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher who aims to create a sense of ease and compassion in each and every practice. Deeply inspired by the ancient teachings and texts of yoga, she loves to weave in philosophy, mantra, energetics, and pranayama with the physical asanas of yoga. She is trained in Ashtanga, vinyasa, mantra, and pranayama and considers herself to be a forever student to the practice of yoga.
Professionally, her work experiences ranges from youth mental health to outdoor adventure, and through this unique combination she continues to lead others through their own sacred journeys. She is known for empowering those in her yoga class to listen to their bodies, and through this approach she guides others to find freedom in the practice and trust themselves.
At this retreat, Eliza is excited to hold space for others while inviting them to come back to their true selves through the yoga practice, one that is radiant, compassion, and full of BLISS.
Amy Bonitz
Hospitality Lead & Private Chef
Amy Bonitz is a hospitality professional and private chef with over 20 years of experience creating meaningful moments through food, connection, and travel. With a background in Culinary Nutrition and a passion for well-being, she brings a grounded yet joyful energy to every table she touches—infusing each meal with care, creativity, and intention.
Amy’s food philosophy blends nourishment and indulgence, honoring both as essential to our well-being. She believes food is more than sustenance—it’s self-care, celebration, and a powerful way to connect with ourselves and others. Drawing on years of experience in both high-end restaurants and intimate retreat settings, she crafts vibrant, balanced meals that support the flow of each day—fueling movement, rest, and everything in between.
At this retreat, Amy brings her signature touches to the experience—curated menus, thoughtful hospitality, and those small, nurturing details that turn a beautiful gathering into something unforgettable.
About St. John:
St. John is a part of the US Virgin Islands (passport not required!) and is home of the Virgin Islands National Park. The island is 2/3 protected and is home of the most beautiful beach in the world. With stunning turquoise blue waters and a rich history, St. John will be the perfect stage to dive deep into our hearts and souls to experience a state of bliss.
There is no airport on this tranquil island, but it’s a mere 7-minute ferry ride from St. Thomas which is home to the largest airport in the Virgin Islands. Traveling to St. John is a breeze, and you will be supported every step of the way!
Eliza‘s yoga classes are wonderful for the soul and body and mind. She encompasses the whole being in her practice. She’s so sweet and thoughtful, and her energy is beautiful. Her personal attention to the postures are wonderful as she goes to class through the flow. While catering to all levels in one class and gives many options for each posture according to your body and needs.

A typical day at the Island Bliss Retreat
7:30 am: Coffee, Tea, and a light breakfast
8:30 am: Morning Meditation
9 am: Asana (Movement)
10 am: Break, Get Ready for afternoon
11 am: Brunch
12 pm: Afternoon adventure at the beach or on a hike!
There will also be two free afternoons where you will have the opportunity to book an add-on wellness session or go shopping and exploring.
4 pm: Return to villa & free time
6:30 pm: Dinner
8:00 pm: Restorative Yoga, Meditation, or Journaling
9:00 pm: Wind down service: Herbal tea, warm lavender towels & Magnesium lotion

FAQ’s:

Nope! While some knowledge and experience in yoga will be helpful, you do not need to have an advanced practice. When we practice asana (physical postures) there will always be modifications and options.

November is still summer in the Caribbean, so it’s perfect for those who aren’t quite ready to settle into winter or are looking for some sunshine and sea. It is also the rainy season, so there will be sudden rain showers that end just as quickly as they started, with sunshine and rainbows as a reward.

All flights will land in St. Thomas, and from there you can take a taxi to the ferry in Red Hook. It’s just a 7 minute ferry ride to St. John! Once you arrive, we will be coordinating rides to our villa, just 5 minutes away.

All meals will be prepared fresh in-villa by our Private Chef, Amy Bonitz, a chef and hospitality expert as well as an experienced retreat facilitator. These meals will be focused on uplifting our health and wellbeing, and catered towards each attendee’s dietary preferences.
